The press briefing is expected to bring together media professionals, community leaders, stakeholders and members of the public as the organisers unveil details of this year’s programme.

According to the organisers, the briefing will provide an opportunity to discuss the scope, objectives and activities lined up for the 2026 edition, including the Badagry Community Service Awards, Face of Change Lecture Series and Awareness Walk.

A key highlight of this year’s edition is the Face of Change Lecture Series, dedicated to two illustrious Badagry indigenes, Dr. Mauyon Samuel Ajose and Princess Damilola Sonayon James.

The lecture series will provide a platform for meaningful discussions on leadership, community development and the future of Badagry, in line with the central theme of this year’s edition, “Reimagining Badagry: The Leadership Imperative.”

The organisers said the theme reflects the need for stakeholders to engage in conversations around responsible leadership, sustainable development and the collective responsibility of building a better future for Badagry.

The BCSA’26 Face of Change programme is also expected to recognise individuals whose contributions, service, leadership and community impact have made a difference in Badagry and beyond.

The press briefing is scheduled as follows:

Time: 11:00 a.m.

Venue: SAKAY Hotel & Suites, Ibereko, Badagry, Lagos.
