| Mr Macaroni has opened up about the financial challenges he faced and the people who supported him. |
In an emotional social media post, the entertainer said he cried after reading messages from people who recalled different ways he had helped them over the years. He said many of the acts they mentioned were things he could no longer remember, prompting him to reflect on the impact of giving to others.
Mr Macaroni said he had always viewed giving as an important part of his life and rarely considered himself someone who should ask others for help. According to him, this changed during the difficult period when he sought assistance from people around him.
He disclosed that one person, whose identity he chose not to reveal, repeatedly helped him and eventually settled what he owed. Mr Macaroni said the support gave him hope at a time when he felt his situation had become overwhelming.
The comedian also expressed appreciation to his close friends for remaining supportive during the period. He specifically thanked music executive Don Jazzy, saying the music executive had supported him from his university days and continued to assist him over the years.
Mr Macaroni also acknowledged footballer Victor Osimhen and Pastor Bolaji, among others, for their support. He said the experience had changed his perspective and made him more appreciative of the people who had stood by him.
Reflecting on the experience, the entertainer said he is now in a better place and is focusing on learning and doing things that bring him happiness. He added that despite the challenges, he does not regret the things he has done to improve other people's lives.
Mr Macaroni said the difficulties had also given him greater clarity and taught him lessons about gratitude, friendship and receiving help. He concluded his message with a call for kindness, expressing hope that love would remain greater than hatred in society.
